Ezekiel Crane stood from the rocking chair and reached out a hand to the Preacher for all the information he’d provided. With a sad smile, Lorrie took the hand, giving it a firm shake.

The old man then picked up the ghost bottle containing his brother and gently placed it in Crane’s hand before saying, “Go to Bearsclaw. Ask around for Judith Greer.”

Crane hesitated. “I’m afraid they won’t cotton to my presence there much. I’m not exactly well liked in Bearsclaw.”

“You ain’t much liked anywhere you go, Ezekiel.” The Preacher chuckled. “When’s that ever stopped you before?” His face grew serious and he continued. “Seek out Judith Greer. She’s an old granny woman of the area. If anyone knows about these bottles and the Ghostfeast, it’ll be her.”

Crane nodded his understanding and walked out the door without another word.
